On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, a press conference was held in Salzburg, where the winning proposal for the redevelopment of the northern part of Salzburg’s old town was presented. The project was prepared by our office, Ravnikar Potokar.
The project envisions the transformation of an important urban area between Neutor and Museumsplatz into a modern shared space, with a focus on high-quality public space and people rather than car traffic.
The project, valued at €12.8 million, will be implemented gradually until 2030 and represents an important step toward a more sustainable and higher-quality future for the city centre. We are proud to contribute to the development of one of the most beautiful European cities through our work.
