In addition to the architectural renovation of the surface structures, the project along Tržaška Street in Postojna also included the extension of the underground infrastructure, level adjustments to the existing and new inspection chambers, and the alignment of the chambers with the grid of the new paving.

The project also included public sanitary facilities and a lift. The main entrance to the sanitary facilities is from Jenkova Street, while the lift connects the level of Jenkova Street with that of Tržaška Street. The sanitary facility is a partially buried structure positioned behind the line of the existing retaining wall and beneath the square in front of the Mercator building along Tržaška Street. At the upper level of the square, only the volume of the lift shaft is visible.
