PRIZE ON THE 21ST SALON OF ARCHITECTURE NOVI SAD

On the 21st Salon of architecture Novi Sad we were awarded the main prize for the project A square under the castle and a playground “Zamorc” in Škofja Loka, in the category of urban design.

LET'S SEE THE CITY

The architectural guide of Ljubljana has just been published in a renewed English edition, Let's see the City of Ljubljana,
by the authors Špela Kuhar and Robert Potokar; published by Piranesi Foundation.

In 2008, the guidebook received the Best Book Award at the Slovenian Book Fair.

The guidebook uses a colourful and intriguing way to present the city from all viewpoints; its history, architectural sights, and mysteries to the citizens and visitors, and especially to children and families.

PIRAN DAYS OF ARCHITECTURE 2017

35th international architectural conference Piran days of architecture will be held on 18. November 2017 in Piran. This years theme is Time in architecture. Robert Potokar will be one of the speakers at the conference and a member of this year's jury.

PIRANESI EXHIBITION OPENING IN SPITTAL

You are kindly invited on an opening of the exhibition Piranesi Awards 1989-2016, which will be held on 2. October 2017 at 17.30, at Fachhochschule Kärnten Spittal in Austria. Robert Potokar (editor-in-chief of the Piranesi magazine) will present the awards and Piran days of architecture.

1st PRIZE - PUBLIC COMPETITION FOR A RENOVATION OF HISTORIC CENTRE - CASTRA IN AJDOVŠČINA

On public competition for a renovation of historic centre - Kastra in Ajdovščina we won 1st Prize. Excerpt from the jury report:

"Project demonstrates a high level of space management, from placement in the historical, cultural and local context, to a sense of composition and detail. From all the received projects it offers the best interpretation of specific cultural and climate features and local character of Vipava Valley and Primorska region. The jury therefore gives the project a 1st Prize."
